Western Fairfax & eastern Loudoun

Families drive to us. Here is why.

One campus, many communities

A school worth a 15-minute drive.

Our campus is in Chantilly, and families arrive each morning from across western Fairfax County and eastern Loudoun County.

Choosing a school changes the shape of a family’s day. The route matters. So does what waits at the end of it: a calm classroom, work a child can choose and complete, and adults who know when to step in and when to give space.

Montessori School of Fairfax has one campus at 3411 Lees Corner Rd in Chantilly, VA. Since 1997, it has served children ages 18 months to 12 years through Toddler, Early Childhood, Kindergarten, Elementary, and Enrichment programs. With about 130 children, the school is large enough for a full community and small enough for familiar faces at arrival and dismissal.

Families from South Riding, Centreville, Oak Hill, and nearby neighborhoods often find the drive simple. Families coming from Fairfax, Reston, Vienna, Great Falls, Brambleton, and Aldie make a little more room in the morning because the visit answers a more important question: does this feel like a place where my child can settle in, concentrate, and grow?

We think the best way to decide is to see an ordinary morning. Watch children choose materials, carry out a plan, and return work with care. Notice the unhurried pace. A 15-minute drive feels different when it brings your family to a school day built around real independence.
